Our beliefs in the doctrines of grace as expressed in the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession of Faith

Covenant Baptist Church is an Evangelical, Confessional Reformed Baptist Church.

Covenant Baptist Church was first founded in 1974. We are a Reformed Baptist Church. The term “Reformed” comes from a period of church history called “The Reformation,” when important Biblical truths were recovered and reemphasized. These core values were called the “Solas” of the Reformation. They are the same core values we emphasize today:
Christ, Grace, Faith, Bible, and Mission.

Christ - Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross is the only way anyone gets to heaven.
Grace - Salvation from our sin is acheived by God’s grace alone, not by human effort.
Faith - Faith is a gift from God to believe in Jesus Christ and His work for us.
Bible – The Bible is our source and final authority for all belief and action
Mission – The Church is to preach the good news and bring glory to God
